Some studies of drawing Asian people... I should be getting more practice considering my family consists of them. :p Girl in the center was drawn without reference.

Red Engine Character Design Class Fall 2011
I totally forgot about these! Last fall I took character design at Red Engine Studios (in shady, shady LA) and these were some of the works I did. I learned a lot of digital painting techniques in that class!

Quicksilver: Infinite Story
This is not super recent but I worked on the opening animation for this game a year ago and they seem to have updated the audio a bit so it's quite spiffy, in my opinion. :) The scenes I worked on specifically are:
- man on stage with machine speaking in front of crowd
- four main characters fighting in the middle of a crowd of monsters in the moonlight
- four main characters looking out from the windows of a silver train
- four main characters standing/posing on the back of the train in the sunset

Entry for Darkness II Contest
This was my entry for the Darkness II Contest on Deviantart. I always want to enter those contests but I usually fail due to the usual suspects (time/procrastination/busy/etc...). But not this time...! The prompt was to use the storyboard provided and draw the 3 panels it describes. Read more here.

Elf and dragon
Illustration-type stuff. Recently, I've been painting in black and white and then throwing a Color layer over that to figure out my overall color scheme. Then I make another layer and fix up any other issues. This method really helps me figure out lighting before I start getting confused by color and I also feel a lot more organized in general. I picked up this method at Red Engine Studios~
