It's fun sometimes to go back and re-draw a character you designed... when you go back to something you haven't worked on for a while, you'll have new insight into the ideas you had for the character. Here are the 4 main characters for a game I worked on quite a while ago, Quicksilver: Infinite Story.
Leowin more or less looks the same though hehe... Here's what the artwork I made for the game looked like:
Oh how far I've come. xD

Animation backgrounds
I've been helping out my friend, Ashley Armstrong, on her animation thesis, "Swan Song". Here are some backgrounds I helped her color.
Also, check out the trailer! It's gonna be awesome :D

The romance
I have quite a large backlog of stuff to post but here's a piece I drew for the romantic in us all :)
Business card 2013
This is the business card I designed for myself this year! I painted the cloud landscape from some reference pictures I took of the sky near my house a few months ago. I love huge clouds in a blue sky! If I see clouds I like, I can't help taking pictures of them (even while driving whoops...).

I'm a waterbender
I like firebending the most but all the tests have me as a waterbender... so here's me as a waterbender :)
Also, my boyfriend as an airbender hehe; I think there would be airbenders around that are not living at the temples, right?
Stuff!

Sketchbook pages...
Here we have images from a Taylor Swift song, Pride and Prejudice characters, and just getting the feel of the Korra characters. :) Perhaps I draw Korra a little too cutesy hehe...
The last one is a concept for Joan of Arc but that silhouette needs some work.

Red Engine Character Design Class Fall 2011
I totally forgot about these! Last fall I took character design at Red Engine Studios (in shady, shady LA) and these were some of the works I did. I learned a lot of digital painting techniques in that class!

Quicksilver: Infinite Story
This is not super recent but I worked on the opening animation for this game a year ago and they seem to have updated the audio a bit so it's quite spiffy, in my opinion. :) The scenes I worked on specifically are:
- man on stage with machine speaking in front of crowd
- four main characters fighting in the middle of a crowd of monsters in the moonlight
- four main characters looking out from the windows of a silver train
- four main characters standing/posing on the back of the train in the sunset

Entry for Darkness II Contest

This was my entry for the Darkness II Contest on Deviantart. I always want to enter those contests but I usually fail due to the usual suspects (time/procrastination/busy/etc...). But not this time...! The prompt was to use the storyboard provided and draw the 3 panels it describes. Read more here.

Elf and dragon
Illustration-type stuff. Recently, I've been painting in black and white and then throwing a Color layer over that to figure out my overall color scheme. Then I make another layer and fix up any other issues. This method really helps me figure out lighting before I start getting confused by color and I also feel a lot more organized in general. I picked up this method at Red Engine Studios~
