Projects from last semester of college

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree a few months ago from USC and these were the two art projects that stood out most to me from last semester.


This is a large oil pastel drawing (about 26" x 57") and it's a scene from an imaginary Maid Cafe in typical Akihabara fashion. I made up all the characters and some of them ended up having names in my head because it took so long to finish this piece...







This was a project where I painted a life-size person on cardboard and made clothes and a different face for it in paper-doll fashion. My class was having fun with this one... :)

Recent Digital Work

Here's some scenes I made for the opening animation of a game I'm working on at USC called Quicksilver.

Color studies

These are oil paintings from last summer from when I took Bill Perkin's Color Theory bootcamp. It was from that class that I learned how to use color; I highly recommend it! These were all 1-hour paintings... we did about 6-7 a day.

Oh dear... sorry for the hiatus. I haven't been figure drawing regularly in the past year but here are some digital figure drawings I did recently.

Disney Summer Art Associate Portfolio

Just spent a weekend getting this portfolio together... I got far less work done than I expected/wanted but I'm done at least. I usually don't watermark, but I'm feeling a little paranoid...

I initially applied for just Vis Dev Character Design but added Story Artist at the last minute for the heck of it. Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best!

Star Wars

A painting I did for a Star Wars artwork competition. I ended up doing like three versions... this is the third/final one, which is soo much better than the others that I'd be embarrassed posting those.
